Justin joined Rodriguez Strategies at the end of 2024, bringing with him a combination of experience from both the government and campaign sides of politics. He spent five years in the Washington, DC press office of US Senator Dianne Feinstein before moving back to California take on political and communications roles with state and local ballot measures.

Justin excels at navigating fast-paced, high-profile situations, having served as a press secretary and political director for multiple politicians and organizations. He has experience operating under the pressure of strict deadlines in crisis situations, while also having the ability to plan and execute long-term strategies. Justin also has an exceptional ability to synthesize the media landscape, ensuring Rodriguez Strategies’ clients are always the first to learn about developments that could impact their industry. He has drafted and placed op-eds in national, regional and local media outlets and is always on the lookout for innovative ways to develop and place our clients’ narratives in the most impactful outlets.

Justin graduated from the International Security and Conflict Resolution program at San Diego State University. Originally from Los Angeles, he is now based in Sacramento, helping expand the firm’s public affairs footprint in the state capital.
